Five tools and a lot of copying
Applications arrived through a form builder and were triaged in a spreadsheet the committee copied by hand. Documents lived in a shared drive with folder names nobody agreed on, and the quarterly report was rebuilt from scratch in slides.
Six weeks, mostly configuration
Brand settings and the first program were configured in week one. The existing pipeline came in through the CSV import wizard. Stages were renamed to the committee's own vocabulary, and reviewer roles were scoped so mentors saw only their own applicants.
One board, one report
One application link per cohort, one board the committee reads together, one data room per startup, and a portfolio view that recomputes itself as cheques are recorded. The report is now a screen, not an exercise.
